In the 8th minute, Zinon Kazakopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Rito scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigiusz Kaczynski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Siembab didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Iwo Mleczewski in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Candido Tavio. Martin Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Benedykt Siembab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Martin Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Martin Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remigiusz Kaczynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rito in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Martin Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Rito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Kaczynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Gortaty's zone, Wilfredo Casomiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigiusz Kaczynski came out of the goal and Wilfredo Casomiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Rito to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Radowit Siedlecki hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tadeu Jacinto tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Martin Rito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Remigiusz Kaczynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwo Mleczewski made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gustaw Basaik immediately put the ball in play. 68 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goalkeeper Remigiusz Kaczynski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Rito. Remigiusz Kaczynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Rito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Martin Rito. Francis Sarmiento's late challenge caught a Gortaty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francis Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. Francis Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski was substituted for Bartlomiej Dlugi. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Francis Sarmiento got a free kick in the 80th minute. Tobias Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
