To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Wilfredo Casomiro came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Casomiro couldn't finish the play. Walery Hyska showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Rito in the 58th minute of the match. Walery Hyska stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Rito's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 63 minutes, Martin Rito made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gortaty's Walery Hyska tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobias Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Borcz in the 65th minute of the match. Walery Hyska was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francis Sarmiento during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gortaty booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gortaty's Walery Hyska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Rito in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sarmiento de Resistencia had played much better football throughout.
