Silvio Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Carrillos, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Giovanni Arósio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kryspin Dembkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Walter Van Mechelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Bazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Bazil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Carrillos came free, but Silvio Bazil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Giammarino in the 18th minute of play forced Victoria Mlawa's goalkeeper Kryspin Dembkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrew Carrillos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Silvio Bazil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kryspin Dembkowski came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Martin Palermo F.C.'s Guillermo Izquierdo. But to his dismay, Guillermo Izquierdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Walter Van Mechelen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoria Mlawa's Kryspin Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Giammarino in the 28th minute of play. Silvio Bazil made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Andrew Carrillos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when Victoria Mlawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogumil Tamulewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Martin Palermo F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew Carrillos to make the kick off. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Silvio Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Van Mechelen in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Izquierdo got free with Kryspin Dembkowski in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvio Bazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Carrillos in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Enrico Giammarino notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Victoria Mlawa's Kryspin Dembkowski. Kryspin Dembkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrico Giammarino hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Giovanni Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Palermo F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
