Marco Mendes took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kryspin Dembkowski. Kryspin Dembkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Victoria Mlawa booed when Iron Maiden Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoria Mlawa's Andrew Carrillos got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kryspin Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Mendes in the 36th minute of play. Mario Alberto Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Alberto Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank McLintock made a kick off. Victoria Mlawa's Zula Burdzel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matias Jax in the 53 minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when José Ramos put in a rough tackle. In the 56th minute, one of Iron Maiden Football:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Iron Maiden Football. 61 minutes into the game, Walter Van Mechelen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jorginho da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Victoria Mlawa's Andrew Carrillos got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jorginho da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Van Mechelen went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Andrew Carrillos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorginho da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Victoria Mlawa made a substitution. Jurand Lenertej replaced Andrew Carrillos. Victoria Mlawa's Olaf Redisz was substituted for Bogumil Tamulewicz. The supporters of Iron Maiden Football booed when Victoria Mlawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Redisz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorginho da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Kolbe in the 87th minute of play. In the 95th minute Jurand Lenertej shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Victoria Mlawa could leave the field as winners, despite Iron Maiden Football having more of the ball for most of the match.
