An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 12th minute of play forced Iron Maiden Football's goalkeeper Enéas Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Isbășoiu took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Tepedino. Melker Flink charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melker Flink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 22 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden Football's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Irureta came free, but Enéas Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iron Maiden Football's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matias Jax in the 25th minute. Enéas Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Irureta in the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Frank McLintock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Prunaru was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Iron Maiden Football's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matias Jax in the 33rd minute. In the 47th minute, Iron Maiden Football's Frank McLintock ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Călin Prunaru. Călin Prunaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viktor Axelsson was the one to do the kick off. Enéas Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes of play, Iron Maiden Football's Frank McLintock made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Prunaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Iron Maiden Football's Enéas Tepedino got control of the ball when Jean Paul Moscatelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match FC MCM got a corner. Iron Maiden Football's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on FC MCM's corner Cristi Maniu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enéas Tepedino quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Frank McLintock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MCM's Călin Prunaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes, Frank McLintock made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iron Maiden Football's Gernando Carvalho was substituted for Ahmet Nasir Nesefi. 72 minutes into the game, Iron Maiden Football's Frank McLintock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Prunaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Enéas Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enéas Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 83rd minute of play. Vali Cârnu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Enéas Tepedino made a huge save. Cătălin Agulescus short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Enéas Tepedino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
