After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Andries De Putter managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC United's supporters rose to their feet, but Andries De Putter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 12 minutes, Andries De Putter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andries De Putter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Peru Diaz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ahmet Sedat Akarslan to make any attempt to save it. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Ahmet Sedat Akarslan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan from getting a goal against them. When Piorno Barrasa fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's protests and gave Piorno Barrasa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Piorno Barrasa hit a great ball. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Andries De Putter. But to his dismay, Andries De Putter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Jordi Scherz got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jaime Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes in the game, Andries De Putter fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ahmet Sedat Akarslan having to interfere. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Andries De Putter sped through Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Sedat Akarslan. After 37th play minutes Andries De Putter shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Ahmet Sedat Akarslan and just under the crossbar into goal. 41 minutes into the match, Peru Diaz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Ahmet Sedat Akarslan. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Piorno Barrasa got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andries De Putter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. AFC United's Peru Diaz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andries De Putter in the 55th minute of play forced Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Ahmet Sedat Akarslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andries De Putter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andries De Putter in the 56th minute of play. Andries De Putter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Andries De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Akarslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andries De Putter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Ahmet Sedat Akarslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of AFC United booed when Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piorno Barrasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC United's Faustino Asprilla was substituted for Andries De Putter. AFC United's Bilintx Trilla was substituted for Şenel Volkan. Faustino Asprilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Faustino Asprilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC United's Faustino Asprilla got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Zeng Sang Chao got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 84 minutes of play, AFC United's Faustino Asprilla made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Sedat Akarslan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan defense, Faustino Asprilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Sedat Akarslan. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Sedat Akarslan should have stopped the shot.
