The audience was convinced that Andries De Putter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Alves was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Andries De Putter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lei Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Angelsø in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andries De Putter in the 20th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Alexandre Alves got a free kick in the 21st minute. Andries De Putter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute Andries De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andries De Putter in the 25th minute of play. If Andries De Putter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Mendes in the 39th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Andries De Putter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Manuel Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, AFC United's Lei Bin got control of the ball when Well-Well Waack tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Andries De Putter sped through Izaltina FAD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Alves. In the 72ndth minute of the game Andries De Putter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of AFC United booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Izaltina FAD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC United's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC United.
