Andries De Putter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Alves having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andries De Putter in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Alves saved Izaltina FAD from getting behind. AFC United's Zeng Sang Chao managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alexandre Alves in the 23 minute of the game. In the 28th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Alves to maneuver through the defense. AFC United's attentive Peru Diaz managed to snatch the ball when Alexandre Alves made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by William Angelsø. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andries De Putter in the 34th minute of the match. Lei Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Well-Well Waack in the 45th minute of the match. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Izaltina FAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Sugar hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Andries De Putter came free, but Manuel Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 91st minute of play. Benito Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Izaltina FAD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
