Klaus-Dieter Scheuch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Metehan Kurboga went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Karasuno's goal looked a bit too open when Cahit Atik came free, but Klaus-Dieter Scheuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cahit Atik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Klaus-Dieter Scheuch having to make a save. When Emanuele Mussi came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Karasuno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Mussi couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Edelmiro Mateo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karasuno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cahit Atik struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Under 18 Universe. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Metehan Kurboga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Under 18 Universe's supporters rose to their feet, but Metehan Kurboga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metehan Kurboga to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Lucio Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurtuluş Ünlü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Cahit Atik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Under 18 Universe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cahit Atik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Baran Bilge Alişan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Hark was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Under 18 Universe's Cahit Atik got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metehan Kurboga, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Metehan Kurboga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus-Dieter Scheuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurtuluş Ünlü having to interfere. Cahit Atik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaus-Dieter Scheuch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Kurtuluş Ünlü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Mateo in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Lucio Maule cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kurtuluş Ünlü was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Florentino Celipe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurtuluş Ünlü was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Kurtuluş Ünlü didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edelmiro Mateo went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klaus-Dieter Scheuch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Karasuno were the better team. Karasuno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
