Klaus-Dieter Scheuch was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the game, Pepijn van Boxel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NFC Eagles 22's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karasuno the free kick. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NFC Eagles 22! The supporters of Karasuno booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Moermans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Emanuele Mussi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 minutes of play, NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞 made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raymond Schouten struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NFC Eagles 22. Joeri Donderwinkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Florentino Celipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Tacconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Karasuno defense, 盛世 高文竞 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klaus-Dieter Scheuch. The Karasuno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klaus-Dieter Scheuch should have stopped the shot. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 盛世 高文竞 in the 44th minute of play. Florentino Celipe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Ciccio Tacconi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half NFC Eagles 22 were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Emanuele Mussi made the kick off in the second half. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞. But to his dismay, 盛世 高文竞 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Leo Hark hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 盛世 高文竞 went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 盛世 高文竞, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, 盛世 高文竞 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NFC Eagles 22's supporters crossed their fingers, but 盛世 高文竞 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 盛世 高文竞's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Klaus-Dieter Scheuch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ciccio Tacconi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Mateo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. NFC Eagles 22 made a substitution. Jeroen Heerckes replaced Emil Houwing. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when Karasuno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vecdi Tamkut didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Karasuno's zone, Ted Jansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch came out of the goal and Ted Jansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joeri Donderwinkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Klaus-Dieter Scheuch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emanuele Mussi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karasuno's goalkeeper Klaus-Dieter Scheuch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 盛世 高文竞 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Klaus-Dieter Scheuch having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 93rd minute of play forced Karasuno's goalkeeper Klaus-Dieter Scheuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The NFC Eagles 22 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NFC Eagles 22 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
