The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Pantiș got free with Chuan Cintron in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Eintracht Cernavoda's zone, Claude Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Corcoveanu came out of the goal and Claude Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Yin Li Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuan Cintron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Municipal's zone, Philip Walter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chuan Cintron came out of the goal and Philip Walter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yin Li Ying received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Chuan Cintron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chuan Cintron made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Filip Pantiș sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Sena came free, but Ionică Corcoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yin Li Ying received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Chuan Cintron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionică Corcoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Sena in the 32nd minute of the match. Yin Li Ying's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chuan Cintron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Eintracht Cernavoda's corner Philip Walter fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chuan Cintron quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Li Ying in the 39th minute of play forced Atlético Municipal's goalkeeper Chuan Cintron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willie Colon in the 40th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yin Li Ying kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Municipal's Claude Sena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ionică Corcoveanu. That made the score 0-1 after 78 minutes of play. In the 81st minute Yin Li Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuan Cintron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Municipal's Chuan Cintron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yin Li Ying in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute Willie Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Corcoveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Municipal's Henry Fiola was substituted for Willie Colon. Aristides Caldas made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Claude Sena. In the 97th minute Yin Li Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuan Cintron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Atlético Municipal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
