An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Messi in the 5th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Felix Donciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Fu Ting Nan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Werneck FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fu Ting Nan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Murillo Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corinthians's Natã Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Almeida had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zé Paulo Luz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 34 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kiril Biradzhiev came free, but Felix Donciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corinthians's Kiril Biradzhiev quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Werneck FC - DMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Werneck FC - DMZ's Sebastian Kiszkiel was substituted for Luís Coutinho. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Messi was the one to do the kick off. Felix Donciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacy Kinic, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cristiano Messi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Felix Donciu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77th minute Ignacy Kinic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Donciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Paulo Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Almeida having to interfere. Corinthians made a substitution. José Vítor Ramos replaced Cristiano Messi. Chris Mas's late challenge caught a Werneck FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Mas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, one of Corinthians:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corinthians. In the 91st minute, Chris Mas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. González Speed made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kiril Biradzhiev however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Paulo Luz in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
