Kazimierz Kosowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, KOLIBER OCYPEL's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Basso came free, but Kazimierz Kosowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Saboya made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kutlu Kayral however managed to control. Kazimierz Kosowski came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso. But to his dismay, Mohamed Basso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. KOLIBER OCYPEL's Kazimierz Kosowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Basso in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Raszkiewicz came free, but Thomás Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Tobias Saboya with Kutlu Kayral as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kazimierz Kosowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Basso in the 35th minute of play. Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Basso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Basso in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kazimierz Kosowski saved KOLIBER OCYPEL from getting behind. Kazimierz Kosowski made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Mohamed Basso sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Mohamed Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Kosowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, KOLIBER OCYPEL's Kazimierz Kosowski got control of the ball when Mohamed Basso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Basso got free with Kazimierz Kosowski in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, KOLIBER OCYPEL's Kazimierz Kosowski got control of the ball when Mohamed Basso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mohamed Basso scored 1-4 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kazimierz Kosowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Arkadiusz Raszkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomás Toscano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Mohamed Basso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Kazimierz Kosowski made a huge save. The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when KOLIBER OCYPEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Saboya didn't get a good kick on the ball. KOLIBER OCYPEL's Teobald Kolano was substituted for Edgar Topolski. After 75 played minutes KOLIBER OCYPEL got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Saboya. Mohamed Basso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kazimierz Kosowski made a huge save. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind KOLIBER OCYPEL's goalkeeper Kazimierz Kosowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohamed Basso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kazimierz Kosowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohamed Basso in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kazimierz Kosowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Kazimierz Kosowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 88th minute, Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. After 91 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Fontes. If Mohamed Basso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
