In the 6th match minute, Canastro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. 林锋庭 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Cupial, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Zbyszko Cupial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. Zbyszko Cupial might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 林锋庭. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyszko Cupial ran back to his position shaking his head. 林锋庭 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Cupial, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, João Pedro Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. 林锋庭 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Canastro FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after 思神俱乐部's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valter Abreu took the corner. The corner led to Canastro FC's Staffan Nyberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Canastro FC's João Pedro Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 林锋庭. That made the score 1-4 after 57 minutes of play. 64 minutes into the match, Canastro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deyan Niculae came free, but Enrico Longo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 思神俱乐部 made a substitution. 张伟光 replaced 龙志斐. Necati İcmal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Zbyszko Cupial succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-9 in the 94th playminute. The Canastro FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Canastro FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
