It was a well-played corner which Jürgen Jaani managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Elias Dunixi kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jürgen Jaani got free with Martin Celipe in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Rene Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalvi Hani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fausto Arnau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalvi Hani was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 25 minutes, Kiur Karai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Viplala and the Club Atlético Burzaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Viplala's Vambola Jänes got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half Club Atlético Burzaco were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Arnau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
