The Inter de Melão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Oranil's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Paraense came free, but Juan Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Juan Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oranil's Juan Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Paraense in the 18th minute of play. Juan Velloso came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Melão's Fabinho Valladares. But to his dismay, Fabinho Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Delfim Paraense scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Oranil's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Paraense came free, but Juan Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Inter de Melão's Delfim Paraense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 37th minute Tobias Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Oranil defense, Fabinho Valladares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Velloso. The Oranil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Velloso should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Tobias Zachrisson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delfim Paraense made a kick off. Fabinho Valladares was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Inter de Melão's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vicente Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Fabinho Valladares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 56th playminute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Fabinho Valladares took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Juan Velloso to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Inter de Melão getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Falcão Dias hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Zachrisson got free with Juan Velloso in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Oranil's Juan Velloso got control of the ball when Tobias Zachrisson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Oranil's goalkeeper Juan Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delfim Paraense. 78 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's Fabinho Valladares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Inter de Melão booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Oranil's goalkeeper Juan Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Zachrisson. If Tobias Zachrisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Inter de Melão's Fabinho Valladares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Velloso. Juan Velloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Juan Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
