Nilmar Eger's late challenge caught a Glentown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilmar Eger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Nilmar Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inter de Munique's Fabrício Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasta Alfonso in the 10th minute of play. Fabrício Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasta Alfonso in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman got control of the ball when Andoni Donadoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Glentown FC's Miromir Gdowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabrício Simões in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fabrício Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Gdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Hasta Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glentown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasta Alfonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrício Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Hasta Alfonso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabrício Simões, passed just outside the right post. Glentown FC's Alexander Gunnarsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vítor Mota, made in the 68th minute of the game. Miromir Gdowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Simões having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Glentown FC's Hasta Alfonso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrício Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Hasta Alfonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Fabrício Simões made a huge save. In the 81st minute Nilmar Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Beckeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hasta Alfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrício Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Glentown FC played a much better game than Inter de Munique and deserved their victory. The Inter de Munique players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
