Santiago Toli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute, Herbert Pracki made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Toli. SABALEPLUS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Cumhur Günay charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cumhur Günay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Cumhur Günay. 18 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Penc. Herbert Pracki hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Alípio Prates shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogério Ceni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SABALEPLUS's Santiago Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cumhur Günay in the 29th minute of play. Rogério Ceni made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Dobromir Huk sent off a good shot on target. Dobromir Huk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rogério Ceni made a huge save. Santiago Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Pracki in the 34th minute of play. Santiago Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Pracki in the 42nd minute of the match. Máximo Kirchner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Ceni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonzo Urbasa went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobromir Huk was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SABALEPLUS's zone, Cumhur Günay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Toli came out of the goal and Cumhur Günay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute SABALEPLUS were awarded a corner. Hugo Santikurtz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to SABALEPLUS's Adam Penc getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Huk in the 61st minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Herbert Pracki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SABALEPLUS's Santiago Toli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Máximo Kirchner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Ceni was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Herbert Pracki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SABALEPLUS's Pascual Chago was substituted for Dobromir Huk. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teodoro Hartz was substituted for Cumhur Günay. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS made a substitution. Navin Dale replaced Guillermo Frank. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chants of Belgrano LOS PIRATAS echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SABALEPLUS had held the ball for most of the match.
