Gurdurão's Costin Bădulescu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ciriaco Macias in the 25 minute of the game. After 25 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Cabral. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Sandström in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Gurdurão were awarded a corner. Fausto Orlondon went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 45th minute, Faustão Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaroslav Nechvátal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elton Titos in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Gregorio Elixio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xie Chao Cheng made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Fausto Orlondon sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Bernardo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natã Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal in the 62nd minute of the match. Gurdurão made a substitution. Tião Moura replaced Fausto Orlondon. The supporters of Club A. Chipa y Tereré booed when Gurdurão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. After a rather tough play, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Reynaldo Inge got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's Pedrão Mala broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club A. Chipa y Tereré had won after a very even match.
