The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Oñatibia got free with Xie Chao Cheng in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xan Descapa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Jaroslav Nechvátal made a precise shot to the right of Xan Descapa. Ornopata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Loredo in the 28th minute of play. Mauro Vallines's late challenge caught a Club A. Chipa y Tereré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Vallines helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Mauro Vallines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xan Descapa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Cabral in the 47th minute of the match. The Ornopata players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club A. Chipa y Tereré were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquin Loredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xan Descapa threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaroslav Nechvátal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xan Descapa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ornopata's zone, Jaroslav Nechvátal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaroslav Nechvátal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Jaroslav Nechvátal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xan Descapa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ornopata getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Wiktor Björnsson hit a great ball.
