Belmiro Corzana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Karaszkiewicz in the 14th minute of play. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Belmiro Corzana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Karaszkiewicz in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes KN ZGORZELEC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tzvetan Mudrov who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tzvetan Mudrov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd did a great save. When Rigoberto Bastiaro came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Bastiaro couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Eugeniusz Kociniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Corzana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eli Isern blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Shepherd having to make a save. Belmiro Corzana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Bos in the 32nd minute of play. Emilio Shepherd made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Omar Arnaldo sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Omar Arnaldo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emilio Shepherd, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Omar Arnaldo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Emilio Shepherd to make any attempt to save it. KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otsoa Arieta kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Karaszkiewicz came free, but Belmiro Corzana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Borys Karaszkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Belmiro Corzana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Belmiro Corzana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Borys Karaszkiewicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Belmiro Corzana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 55th minute of the match. Borys Karaszkiewicz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Belmiro Corzana firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Tzvetan Mudrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KN ZGORZELEC's Kazimierz Chrobak got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzvetan Mudrov in the 64th minute of the match. Wessel Bos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Belmiro Corzana came out and tried to block the shot, but Wessel Bos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 67th minute. KN ZGORZELEC's Emiliano Felice was substituted for Gustaw Ptaszek. Kazimierz Chrobak took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Belmiro Corzana. Belmiro Corzana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Tzvetan Mudrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KN ZGORZELEC's Kazimierz Chrobak got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to KN ZGORZELEC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gwidon Furtok hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, KN ZGORZELEC's Gwidon Furtok got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the KN ZGORZELEC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
