An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Fortun in the 14th minute of play forced ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goalkeeper Carlos Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Garcia Morros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Carlos Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Blue Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garcia Morros's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Mete Karabugra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34thth minute of the game Judas Verón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Carlos Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Belgrano de Pibasog's Carlos Baptista threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Garcia Morros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ersen Bumba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersen Bumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ booed when Belgrano de Pibasog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mete Karabugra to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Melquiades Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garcia Morros's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslaw Majorski in the 83rd minute of the match. When Garcia Morros came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Belgrano de Pibasog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garcia Morros couldn't finish the play. Carlos Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Belgrano de Pibasog had played much better football throughout.
