Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Sayvion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Bearnaise EA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Rolandsson to maneuver through the defense. Sebastien Clifford took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Svante Björkdahl. Bearnaise EA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jan-Erik Kjellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Grant Blacknell made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Jan-Erik Kjellberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grant Blacknell, 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Bearnaise EA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hampus Nordin to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Sayvion might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Blacknell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Sayvion ran back to his position shaking his head. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Sayvion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Will Patton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Bruno Sayvion notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell. Grant Blacknell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30thth minute of the game Bruno Sayvion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Sayvion struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Grant Blacknell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bearnaise EA. Svante Björkdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Patton in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Erik Kjellberg. Jan-Erik Kjellberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 42nd playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bruno Sayvion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bearnaise EA's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Sayvion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Blacknell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tod Freeman made a kick off. Svante Björkdahl made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tod Freeman sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, Bearnaise EA's goalkeeper Svante Björkdahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Patton. Bruno Sayvion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grant Blacknell having to make a save. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Nordin in the 64th minute of the match. Camron Rhodes scored 3-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Svante Björkdahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Leicester Lions booed when Bearnaise EA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Malmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Sebastien Clifford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leicester Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastien Clifford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Michal Budzyn hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match, Denzil Howarth got a very nice opportunity to score, but Svante Björkdahl was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sayvion in the 83rd minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Bruno Sayvion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grant Blacknell. Leicester Lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Sayvion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Leicester Lions's Alexander Cheetham was substituted for Michal Budzyn. 91 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Sayvion came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Sayvion in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grant Blacknell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bearnaise EA had won after a very even match.
