In the 23rd minute Mateo Palacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Pombal made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcos Paulista immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Czeslaw Pawlak in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo Guedes saved AF CERRADO from getting behind. Arlindo Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Palacio went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Toninho Moreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Napoleon Jajko. That made the score 1-3 in the 42 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Palacio to strike the kick off in the second half. Arlindo Guedes made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Mateo Palacio sent off a good shot on target. Mateo Palacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arlindo Guedes having to make a save. Arlindo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Palacio in the 54th minute of the match. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Palacio in the 56th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Mateo Palacio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Antônio Carlos Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the AF CERRADO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Bueno couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 59th minute of play forced Zjem Cię's goalkeeper Napoleon Jajko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napoleon Jajko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Paulista in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Jajko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Napoleon Jajko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Paulista in the 77th minute of play. AF CERRADO's Dennis Contaldi was substituted for Róbson Bittencourt. AF CERRADO made a substitution. Felix Smits replaced Carlos Alberto Jacinto. AF CERRADO's Nickolas Willems was substituted for Toninho Moreira. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zjem Cię's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pombal was slow to take the kick. During this time AF CERRADO's players had a chance to rest. Arlindo Guedes made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Wasyl Dejo sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute of the match Zjem Cię got a corner. AF CERRADO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tolek Wojtyna ran over to the corner to take the kick. 93 minutes into the match, Wasyl Dejo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arlindo Guedes. AF CERRADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wasyl Dejo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
