Brice Leach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Ran Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Su Ran Hong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Varennes's Brice Leach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Ran Hong in the 9th minute of play. Brice Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Su Ran Hong in the 12th minute of the match. Su Ran Hong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Su Ran Hong came free, but Brice Leach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Irving Dugan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Su Ran Hong might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brice Leach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Su Ran Hong ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Su Ran Hong notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Varennes's Brice Leach. Brice Leach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute of the match Putra Rewulu got a corner. Varennes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moises Udoy ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 28 played minutes Putra Rewulu got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Munio. Su Ran Hong scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brice Leach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Loic Deal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varennes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Putra Rewulu the free kick. Loic Deal kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Brice Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Su Ran Hong in the 37th minute of the match. Owen Purcell hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Putra Rewulu's Su Ran Hong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brice Leach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Su Ran Hong made a kick off. If Su Ran Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Rasyid Purbaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irving Dugan in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Su Ran Hong came free, but Brice Leach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Su Ran Hong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brice Leach having to make a save. Su Ran Hong might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brice Leach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Su Ran Hong ran back to his position shaking his head. Brice Leach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Ran Hong in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Su Ran Hong in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brice Leach saved Varennes from getting behind. Putra Rewulu's Jandia Muda was substituted for Primus Ramandha. After 79 minutes of play, Putra Rewulu's Jandia Muda made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brice Leach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jandia Muda scored 0-6 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brice Leach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Jandia Muda put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Brice Leach. The Varennes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Putra Rewulu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
