The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severo Mikolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orland Uceda in the 7th minute of play. Bahiano Caballeria made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Astor Illart sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, Ruben Bernal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nottingham Miedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ortegano the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nottingham Miedo's Ruben Bernal got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of Deportivo Ortegano booed when Nottingham Miedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Ospetsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Mikolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Koller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jan Koller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severo Mikolas was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Orland Uceda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the game, Jan Koller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Severo Mikolas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 31 minutes, Ian Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ortegano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bahiano Caballeria made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tomás Ospetsu sent off a good shot on target. Severo Mikolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Koller in the 35th minute of the match. Cristo Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahiano Caballeria having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nottingham Miedo's Geronimo Senen got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Jan Koller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Mikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nottingham Miedo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Ortegano were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Illart was the one to do the kick off. Severo Mikolas was a little too slow when Christian Arandoja got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Severo Mikolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Koller in the 55th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match, Jan Koller tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severo Mikolas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Jan Koller got free in front of the goal in the 60th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Severo Mikolas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Ospetsu came free, but Bahiano Caballeria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Nottingham Miedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Belasko to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Nottingham Miedo's Severo Mikolas got control of the ball when Oinomoas Konstantatos tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Orland Uceda took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Severo Mikolas to make any attempt to save it. 74 minutes into the match, Orland Uceda notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Nottingham Miedo's Severo Mikolas. Severo Mikolas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deportivo Ortegano's Primo Buiza was substituted for Orlandus Torrascasana. 86 minutes into the match, Oinomoas Konstantatos notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Nottingham Miedo's Severo Mikolas. Severo Mikolas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Elano Lobado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Oinomoas Konstantatos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Severo Mikolas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Orland Uceda came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Deportivo Ortegano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orland Uceda couldn't finish the play. Nottingham Miedo's Severo Mikolas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Nottingham Miedo from getting a goal against them. If Elano Lobado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deportivo Ortegano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
