In the 28th minute, Thys Mangelschot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Godfredo Obano. The goal made the score 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Jullian Vranx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Obano. ALEXANDRIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jullian Vranx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of ALEXANDRIA booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Gressens didn't get a good kick on the ball. ALEXANDRIA were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Bruly's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feliciano Itzaina took the corner. After a good free kick, Cipriano Marques got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Bruly. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Acosta to strike the kick off in the second half. ALEXANDRIA's Gervasio Chorache managed to work through Bruly's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gervasio Chorache dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. ALEXANDRIA's Zeledon Salvino was substituted for Marciano Rocio. ALEXANDRIA made a substitution. Hugo Maia replaced Geoffrey Verhelst. If Jullian Vranx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Willy Van Linthout didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 5-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Acosta got free with Willy Van Linthout in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Godfredo Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jullian Vranx in the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ALEXANDRIA's zone, Jullian Vranx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Obano came out of the goal and Jullian Vranx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Mauro Llorian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
