The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herbert Hilhorst came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Jupiter Siemiatycze's Friday Sobota. But to his dismay, Friday Sobota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dobromir Klawki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Japke de Boer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Oliver van Kampen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jupiter Siemiatycze's Dobromir Klawki did a great save. Verwachting's Twan Hesseling was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Friday Sobota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Hilhorst was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Jupiter Siemiatycze's attentive Qin Yang De managed to snatch the ball when Phoenix Soare made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Christijan Schreuder hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friday Sobota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Friday Sobota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Hilhorst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friday Sobota, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Friday Sobota came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Verwachting's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Azim Onatsu was slow to take the kick. During this time Jupiter Siemiatycze's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Jupiter Siemiatycze's corner Azim Onatsu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Herbert Hilhorst quite easily take care of the ball. Dobromir Klawki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Twan Hesseling, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Jason Asselberghs kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Christijan Schreuder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dobromir Klawki made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Friday Sobota was the one to do the kick off. Phoenix Soare's late challenge caught a Jupiter Siemiatycze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phoenix Soare helped the player get up and apologised. Phoenix Soare hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Herbert Hilhorst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friday Sobota in the 56th minute. Verwachting's Japke de Boer got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jupiter Siemiatycze made a substitution. Blas Obeko replaced Qin Yang De. Twan Hesseling's late challenge caught a Jupiter Siemiatycze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Twan Hesseling helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Twan Hesseling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Verwachting's Leendert Dekker got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 78 minutes of play, Verwachting's Japke de Boer made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dobromir Klawki was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Twan Hesseling came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Verwachting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Twan Hesseling couldn't finish the play. Dobromir Klawki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Japke de Boer, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Dobromir Klawki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christijan Schreuder in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Twan Hesseling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Jupiter Siemiatycze booed when Verwachting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriaan Kuypers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Hilhorst made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Azim Onatsu sent off a good shot on target. Jarrod Bowen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jo Gvardiol kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Japke de Boer in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dobromir Klawki saved Jupiter Siemiatycze from getting behind.
