An unexpectedly hard shot by Christijan Schreuder in the 8th minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Hesseling in the 9th minute of play. If Wesley Gressens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Willy Van Linthout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Japke de Boer in the 15th minute of play. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Japke de Boer in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Thys Mangelschot came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Hilhorst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jullian Vranx in the 40th minute. Verwachting's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Jullian Vranx scored to the left of an out of position Herbert Hilhorst, making the score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christijan Schreuder to strike the kick off in the second half. Willy Van Linthout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christijan Schreuder in the 57th minute. Christijan Schreuder struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jullian Vranx in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Hilhorst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Verwachting booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Gressens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincent Koekkoek hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jullian Vranx succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Willy Van Linthout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christijan Schreuder in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Jullian Vranx got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Christijan Schreuder struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Willy Van Linthout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verwachting. 95 minutes into the match, Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Japke de Boer. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Phillipe Soetemans got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bruly had played much better football throughout.
