The supporters of ALEXANDRIA booed when KS LEW Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Godfredo Obano came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by KS LEW Chorzów's Leo Campana. The corner ended in Dariusz Misiewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ALEXANDRIA's Godfredo Obano did a great save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KS LEW Chorzów fans cheered their team off the field, for while ALEXANDRIA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
