Yuri Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalju Kaber in the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Trabzon's Mustafa Hamit Kutlu got control of the ball when Horácio Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Trabzon's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Soares came free, but Mustafa Hamit Kutlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sümer Üstek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 31 played minutes Sümer Üstek shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Al-Fajuth's Yuri Quirino to catch but Sümer Üstek was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Yuri Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sümer Üstek in the 35th minute of the match. After the first half Trabzon were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Szymon Sokol was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Sümer Üstek. In the 51st minute of the match Fabrício Brunovskis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Hamit Kutlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Sokol in the 53rd minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Yuri Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Quirino made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Szymon Sokol sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Trabzon getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Orhan Veli Çetinay hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Fabrício Brunovskis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Hamit Kutlu skillfully saved the ball. Yuri Quirino made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Sümer Üstek sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitinho Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuri Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Sokol, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Kalju Kaber kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 93rd play minutes Sandro Maciel shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Mustafa Hamit Kutlu and just under the crossbar into goal. The Trabzon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Trabzon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
