After having played for 3 minutes, Justino Kaxen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Kaxen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Defensores del Tiki Tiki were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Atlético São Sebastião's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justino Kaxen took the corner. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Justino Kaxen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Qu Feng Bin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 10 minutes into the match, Atlético São Sebastião's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Kaxen came free, but Qu Feng Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Defensores del Tiki Tiki got a corner. Atlético São Sebastião's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justino Kaxen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Justino Kaxen was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores del Tiki Tiki's players had a chance to rest. Qu Feng Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergey Nikiforenko in the 18th minute of the match. Atlético São Sebastião's Qu Feng Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Kaxen in the 22nd minute of play. Justino Kaxen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qu Feng Bin having to make a save. Gianluigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Godofredo Cebo sent off a good shot on target. Qu Feng Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Guillem, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
In the 50th match minute, Atlético São Sebastião was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Dracena to maneuver through the defense. In the 51st minute of the match Justino Kaxen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Qu Feng Bin skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergey Nikiforenko got free with Qu Feng Bin in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atlético São Sebastião's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sergey Nikiforenko 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Santana in the 56th minute of play forced Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clóvis Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Atlético São Sebastião:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defensores del Tiki Tiki:s goal. Atlético São Sebastião's Qu Feng Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Kaxen in the 64th minute of play. Roberto Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gianluigi Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. Justino Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qu Feng Bin having to interfere. In the 77th minute Hampus Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qu Feng Bin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Defensores del Tiki Tiki's corner Justino Kaxen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qu Feng Bin quite easily take care of the ball. Hampus Nordströms short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Qu Feng Bin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Gianluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Santana in the 89th minute of play. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Santana in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st minute, Sérgio Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qu Feng Bin made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Justino Kaxen sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute of the match Osvaldo Cantero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Qu Feng Bin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
