Dreas Jamieson was slow to take the kick. During this time America Futebol Clube SP's players had a chance to rest. In the 22nd minute, America Futebol Clube SP's Iago Bala dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind islahiye spor's goalkeeper Rainer Seltorp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. America Futebol Clube SP's Tadeu Xavier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alan Whieldon, made in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Iago Bala reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rainer Seltorp. The goal made the score 4-0. If Iago Bala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iago Bala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Rainer Seltorp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rainer Seltorp made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Iago Bala sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Kris Devine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iago Bala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Rainer Seltorp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Iago Bala came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the America Futebol Clube SP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iago Bala couldn't finish the play. America Futebol Clube SP's Ahmet Kadri Ucatekin was substituted for Maksymilian Sobczak.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iago Bala to make the kick off. Rainer Seltorp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeronimo Rico took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rainer Seltorp. Rainer Seltorp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Rainer Seltorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Rico in the 68th minute of play. If Jeronimo Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. islahiye spor's Rainer Seltorp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Rico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Rainer Seltorp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the islahiye spor defense, Jeronimo Rico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rainer Seltorp. The islahiye spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rainer Seltorp should have stopped the shot. Jeronimo Rico took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rainer Seltorp. Rainer Seltorp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Rainer Seltorp came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Rico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Jeronimo Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rainer Seltorp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeronimo Rico went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Jeronimo Rico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rainer Seltorp was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jeronimo Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot. America Futebol Clube SP's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Rico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rainer Seltorp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. America Futebol Clube SP had played much better football throughout.
