PINGO PINGO's Dionisio Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Velloso in the 20th minute of play. Doctor Frankenhaeuser hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Josefsson in the 23rd minute of play. Augusto Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Raphael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute.
