REAL VASCO RIO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 15th minute, Augusto Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Augusto Saldanha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Percival Prestes. Augusto Saldanha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, REAL VASCO RIO's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Velloso came free, but Percival Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Pedro Simão hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Percival Prestes. That made the score 4-0 after 23 minutes of play. Percival Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Velloso's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Augusto Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Percival Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Saldanha in the 30th minute of the match. Percival Prestes was a little too slow when Augusto Saldanha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 5-0. Pedro Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percival Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Percival Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Saldanha's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Augusto Saldanha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Percival Prestes, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 52nd minute of play forced REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Saldanha in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percival Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto Saldanha took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percival Prestes. Percival Prestes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. If Augusto Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şamil Sağman to maneuver through the defense. Gracie Barra made a substitution. Nilton Botelho replaced Pedro Velloso. Gracie Barra's Hugo de Queirós was substituted for Jamey Hankins. In the 64th minute, Şamil Sağman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Snorri De Hond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percival Prestes was relentless in the 68th minute of the game.
