Ermengol Baena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s Edmundson Ross sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermengol Baena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s attentive Ture Asklöv managed to snatch the ball when Zenon Larrave made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. A collision led to ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Amerigo Rosini hit a great ball. A hard shot 33 in the game by Edmundson Ross from a close distance when the talented Ermengol Baena managed to make a qualified save. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s players were relieved. Ture Asklöv kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s attentive Zenon Larrave managed to snatch the ball when Ture Asklöv made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quirce Lamas in the 48th minute of play forced ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s goalkeeper Marjus Laçka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Quirce Lamas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marjus Laçka. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quirce Lamas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundson Ross was the one to do the kick off. Ermengol Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundson Ross, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Edmundson Ross charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundson Ross the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Edmundson Ross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Ermengol Baena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Åke Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermengol Baena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermengol Baena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Iacovacci in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Zenon Larrave mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 95th match minute, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Larrave to maneuver through the defense. Ermengol Baena came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s Aurelio Iacovacci. But to his dismay, Aurelio Iacovacci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
