Emanuel Ceandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Ceandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quirce Lamas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Ceandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quirce Lamas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Gombal Avellaneda was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ermengol Baena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Sancho in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TIBURON F.C's zone, Quirce Lamas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Ceandro came out of the goal and Quirce Lamas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Arias Baltanas came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Carlos Saúl Menem with Mathias Bastos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Azeari in the 23rd minute of play forced ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Ermengol Baena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, TIBURON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Quirce Lamas came free, but Emanuel Ceandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► were awarded a corner. Solustiano Blea went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Solustiano Blea to fire away a dangerous shot which Emanuel Ceandro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of TIBURON F.C booed when ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivareo Mouro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, TIBURON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Quirce Lamas came free, but Emanuel Ceandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute, Quirce Lamas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 minutes, Geronimo Vincent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TIBURON F.C and the ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TIBURON F.C's Geronimo Vincent got a free kick in the 55th minute. TIBURON F.C made a substitution. Celedonio Madeo replaced Clemente Azeari. Mathias Bastos struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ermengol Baena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TIBURON F.C. Emanuel Ceandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quirce Lamas in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chepe Margarita to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Ceandro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Quirce Lamas. But to his dismay, Quirce Lamas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gombal Avellaneda hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Ermengol Baena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Madeo. Chepe Margarita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Quirce Lamas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of TIBURON F.C booed when ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gombal Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Paco Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermengol Baena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Mathias Bastos took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ermengol Baena to make any attempt to save it. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though TIBURON F.C had controlled the match.
