In the 21st match minute, Dogelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Valle to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmílson Martins was the one to do the kick off. Manúel Bento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnold Ponk in the 52nd minute. Arnold Ponk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Manúel Bento made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Catarinense came free, but Pastor Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
