In the 3rd minute, one of Te Pito o Te Henua:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Te Pito o Te Henua. Mauro Cordareo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Gianluca Vialli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gianluca Vialli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Hanni having to make a save. Gianluca Vialli struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Candido Hanni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falckner FC. After some careless play in the Te Pito o Te Henua defense, Gianluca Vialli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Hanni. The Te Pito o Te Henua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Hanni should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goalkeeper Urmet Rammu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Bidari. Te Pito o Te Henua's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Prospero Abarca in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Te Pito o Te Henua's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Gabrio came free, but Candido Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Te Pito o Te Henua's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Cordareo was slow to take the kick. During this time Falckner FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mauro Cordareo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Te Pito o Te Henua's Candido Hanni did a great save. In the 24th minute, Marcelo Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Te Pito o Te Henua's goalie prevented a goal. Falckner FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Te Pito o Te Henua's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauro Cordareo took the corner. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Alvaro Lizardi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mauro Cordareo hit a great ball. Jimeno Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urmet Rammu having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Mauro Cordareo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Te Pito o Te Henua's Candido Hanni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gianluca Vialli might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Hanni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gianluca Vialli ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, Te Pito o Te Henua's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Vialli came free, but Candido Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marciano Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Urmet Rammu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gianluca Vialli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauro Cordareo's late challenge caught a Te Pito o Te Henua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Cordareo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Mauro Cordareo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Te Pito o Te Henua booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluca Vialli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falckner FC's André Damásio was substituted for Gianluca Vialli. 64 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's André Damásio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Candido Hanni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Edelmiro Firme got a free kick in the 67th minute. Edelmiro Firme made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Severino Gabrio. Candido Hanni came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Falckner FC's André Damásio. But to his dismay, André Damásio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Candido Hanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Damásio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Te Pito o Te Henua's Candido Hanni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Te Pito o Te Henua from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Edelmiro Firme got a free kick in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the game, André Damásio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Candido Hanni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Damásio might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Hanni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Damásio ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's André Damásio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Candido Hanni narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
