With a little luck, Itajaí Football Club's Marcelo Galvão got control of the ball when Şinasi Derem tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şinasi Derem in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Galvão saved Itajaí Football Club from getting behind. With an all-out effort, FC juveMET's Marcelo Galvão threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Özdemir Ensar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 8 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Marcelo Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şinasi Derem. FC juveMET's Raşit Özdilek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo da Costa in the 10th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Raşit Özdilek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Fontes in the 13th minute of play forced FC juveMET's goalkeeper Raşit Özdilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Itajaí Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Wiktor Napierkowski scored to the left of an out of position Marcelo Galvão, making the score, 1-0. Raşit Özdilek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo da Costa in the 20th minute of the match. Şinasi Derem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Marcelo Galvão made a huge save. In the 23rd play minute Şinasi Derem came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcelo Galvão. 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Marcelo Galvão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcelo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Napierkowski in the 30th minute of the match. Raşit Özdilek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo da Costa in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Itajaí Football Club got a corner. FC juveMET's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afonso Severo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Itajaí Football Club's André Luís King got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, FC juveMET's Şinasi Derem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Galvão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Uğur Erkovich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Marcelo Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arda Turan. In the 41st minute, FC juveMET's Şinasi Derem dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Şinasi Derem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Marcelo Galvão made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelinho de Salles made a kick off. Itajaí Football Club's Marcelo Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şinasi Derem in the 50th minute of play. If Wiktor Napierkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şinasi Derem in the 53rd minute of the match. Marcelo Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şinasi Derem, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Marcelo Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şinasi Derem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şinasi Derem's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho de Salles in the 62nd minute of play forced FC juveMET's goalkeeper Raşit Özdilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC juveMET's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afonso Severo was slow to take the kick. During this time Itajaí Football Club's players had a chance to rest. 65 minutes into the game, Itajaí Football Club's Marcelinho de Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raşit Özdilek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uğur Erkovich in the 70th minute of play forced Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Marcelo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Napierkowski in the 73rd minute of play. Hortêncio Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Itajaí Football Club's Marcelo Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şinasi Derem in the 77th minute of play. Marcelo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şinasi Derem in the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Itajaí Football Club defense, Uğur Erkovich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Galvão. The Itajaí Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Galvão should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the FC juveMET players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
