Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itajaí Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. Willian Cuesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho de Salles in the 25th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Itajaí Football Club defense, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Galvão. The Itajaí Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Galvão should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Galvão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otsando Fierro went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Heinz Rummenigge came free, but Marcelo Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was the one to do the kick off. Milosz Majczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Marcelo Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otsando Fierro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 54th playminute.
