Yalapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Dolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vellito Alguerdo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Dolfo's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Jari Alenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri İhtiyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Dolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Vellito Alguerdo made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jari Alenius in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basri İhtiyar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Amedeo Biscotti came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Yalapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Biscotti couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Thorbjörn Hong in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yalapa's Juan Edwardo. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jari Alenius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basri İhtiyar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, NAGANO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Dolfo came free, but Vellito Alguerdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Jose Nuno in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NAGANO F.C's Erk Hong. Fermin Dolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Vellito Alguerdo made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jari Alenius in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basri İhtiyar saved Yalapa from getting behind. A collision led to Yalapa getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Diego Armando Junior hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Dolfo to make the kick off. Amedeo Biscotti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Jari Alenius put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Basri İhtiyar. Yalapa made a substitution. Atilano Dino replaced Amedeo Biscotti. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Jari Alenius took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Basri İhtiyar to make any attempt to save it. Yalapa made a substitution. Basri İhtiyar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Yalapa from getting a goal against them. Vellito Alguerdo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Alenius in the 82nd minute of the match. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Basri İhtiyar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pertti Koskenkorva in the 94th minute of play. The NAGANO F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NAGANO F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
