The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bendegúz Ördög stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Paulo Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krisztián Sydbøge was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 85th minute, one of Nimród Vére:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nimród Vére. Krisztián Sydbøge had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Vitório Lago's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 10-0 came in the 87th minute when Vitório Lago all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Krisztián Sydbøge. Palestra do Interior were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Nimród Vére's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niclas Danielsson took the corner. The corner ended in Niclas Danielsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge did a great save.
