Ahmet Baki Tecimer was slow to take the kick. During this time La Maquina 9-12-18's players had a chance to rest. Jose Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristján Ófeigsson in the 76th minute of play. After 81 minutes La Maquina 9-12-18's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marel Ingimundarson who took care of the corner kick. In the 81st match minute, Æsir Ásgarðr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elfráður Unnarsson to maneuver through the defense.
