With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustave Souchu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 minutes, Aydın Tor made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. R.C. Marseille's Gustave Souchu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Gustave Souchu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Djibril Mourot got free with Frank Frankfurter in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of R.C. Marseille booed when FC MeHigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hasan Keyfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC MeHigh's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
