With a little luck, ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone got control of the ball when Gustaw Kosiorek tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Clodoveo Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Budzyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Hernández in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute Matías Hernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Budzyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Jan Budzyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Flores in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Long Stora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Budzyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Budzyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Long Stora in the 29th minute of the match. Gustaw Kosiorek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sergio Livingstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Gustaw Kosiorek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lyna Lidzbark Warminski and the ViCeNzA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Kosiorek to maneuver through the defense. Ludomir Blicharz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaw Kosiorek to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szymon Sobczak in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Livingstone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Jan Budzyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Lyna Lidzbark Warminski from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute Szymon Sobczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Tymoteusz Kasprzak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Livingstone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Cayo in the 63rd minute of play forced Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's goalkeeper Jan Budzyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, ViCeNzA's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Kosiorek came free, but Sergio Livingstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Clodoveo Cayo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the ViCeNzA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Cayo couldn't finish the play. ViCeNzA's Robert Moreau was substituted for Matías Hernández. Robert Moreau kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Jan Budzyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Flores in the 81st minute of the match. Radomir Motyl replaced Gustaw Kosiorek. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Long Stora was slow to take the kick. During this time ViCeNzA's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Cayo got free with Jan Budzyn in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Wellington Flores could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Jan Budzyn however easily saved by the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
