Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Ovidio Oto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 13 minutes into the match, Long Stora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Long Stora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 16th minute of the match, Clodoveo Cayo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ovidio Oto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 18 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Cayo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ovidio Oto. Clodoveo Cayo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Stora in the 23rd minute of play. OLYMPIACOS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Long Stora scored to the left of an out of position Ovidio Oto, making the score, 4-0. The supporters of ViCeNzA booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eusebio Eate hit a great ball. ViCeNzA's Matías Hernández got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Cayo in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Guilabertus to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Cayo in the 33rd minute of play. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Long Stora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Cayo came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Long Stora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Oto was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Stora in the 50th minute of play. After 55 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Guilabertus. After having played for 59 minutes, Clodoveo Cayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ViCeNzA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Cayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Long Stora took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 62 minutes into the match, Long Stora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Oto. Evaristo Kaiet kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Long Stora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Oto having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Long Stora in the 77th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Cayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Long Stora notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 minutes of play, ViCeNzA's Clodoveo Cayo made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Oto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Robert Moreau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ViCeNzA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Moreau in the 96th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ViCeNzA fully deserved thier win.
