Emanuel Barreto hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Ali Köpsel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AnÐaRaHy's Bruno Cruz. Bruno Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Mansilha in the 16th minute of play. With an all-out effort, AnÐaRaHy's Ercole Armellini threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henrique Almeida, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academica Pulheim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vânderson Falcão was slow to take the kick. During this time AnÐaRaHy's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Vânderson Falcão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ercole Armellini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of AnÐaRaHy booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Köpsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Henrique Almeida notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Academica Pulheim's Ercole Armellini. Ercole Armellini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Academica Pulheim's Ercole Armellini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Academica Pulheim from getting a goal against them. Ercole Armellini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Almeida in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Barreto got free with Ercole Armellini in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute of the match Alex Mansilha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Cruz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, AnÐaRaHy's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Mansilha came free, but Bruno Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Almeida in the 53rd minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Ercole Armellini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Thilo Prinz in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AnÐaRaHy's Clemente Leal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Almeida in the 58th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Ercole Armellini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when AnÐaRaHy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Gierlach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Mansilhas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Bruno Cruz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. AnÐaRaHy:s Bruno Cruz showed great skill when he stopped Alex Mansilha:s penalty. After some careless play in the AnÐaRaHy defense, Alex Mansilha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Cruz. The AnÐaRaHy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Cruz should have stopped the shot. Hugó Bøss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Bruno Cruz made a huge save. Bruno Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Wickede, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Jack Sparrow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute of the match Alex Mansilha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Cruz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Hugó Bøss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Cruz was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After 85 minutes, Malte Rastätter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academica Pulheim and the AnÐaRaHy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Malte Rastätter. 89 minutes into the match, AnÐaRaHy's goalkeeper Bruno Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lutz Golke. In the 95th match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Mansilha to maneuver through the defense. The Academica Pulheim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Academica Pulheim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
