MORPH's defense didn't have a chance, in the 2nd minute, when Julien Staffelbach scored to the left of an out of position Melquiades Mambru, making the score, 1-0. 5 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Staffelbach came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavo Tomat in the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Arvid Carlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Mambru was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Julien Staffelbach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Melquiades Mambru made a huge save. In the 17th minute Bayındır Sarıkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lilo Ramírez hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Witarya in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Julien Staffelbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvid Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayındır Sarıkaya struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jimmy Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MORPH. 28 minutes into the match, Bayındır Sarıkaya notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson. Jimmy Olsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melquiades Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willy Witarya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MORPH getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Feliciano Telo hit a great ball. The long shot by Marbjörn Garpsson in the 41st minute really tested Melquiades Mambru's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Julien Staffelbach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Melquiades Mambru made a huge save. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Nilsson in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Linköpings AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Feliciano Telo scored to the left of an out of position Jimmy Olsson, making the score, 4-2. MORPH made a substitution. Delmar Udalaitz replaced Orlando Lopez. After a rather tough play, Linköpings AIK's Jan-Erik Lundqvist got a free kick in the 68th minute. Carel Rokeloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jimmy Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carel Rokeloos in the 72nd minute of play. Melquiades Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Witarya, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Lilo Ramírez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carel Rokeloos in the 83rd minute of play. Carel Rokeloos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimmy Olsson having to make a save. A hard shot 87 in the game by Carel Rokeloos from a close distance when the talented Jimmy Olsson managed to make a qualified save. Linköpings AIK's players were relieved. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 88th minute of the match.
