In the 8th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marbjörn Garpsson to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's Julien Staffelbach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Alström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Linköpings AIK's zone, Michal Banan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Olsson came out of the goal and Michal Banan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Jaroslaw Majdoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, KAMILOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Walentowicz to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Konrad Lodowy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimmy Olsson. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konrad Lodowy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind KAMILOS's goalkeeper Roland Alström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Banan in the 30th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led KAMILOS's Jerzy Blicharz to a score. 0-2 in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Juliusz Walentowicz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Linköpings AIK's Tavo Tomat quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 40 minutes into the match, KAMILOS's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Staffelbach came free, but Roland Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Staffelbach in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Julien Staffelbach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roland Alström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute Jerzy Blicharz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Blicharz in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerzy Blicharz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Blicharz came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Alström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Staffelbach in the 52nd minute of the match. Linköpings AIK's Tavo Tomat managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juliusz Walentowicz in the 54 minute of the game. Jerzy Blicharz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jimmy Olsson made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Nils Svensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Alström. KAMILOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Svensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Jerzy Blicharz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roland Alström came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Linköpings AIK's Julien Staffelbach. But to his dismay, Julien Staffelbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. KAMILOS's Roland Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 70th minute of play. Roland Alström came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Linköpings AIK's Julien Staffelbach. But to his dismay, Julien Staffelbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Michal Banan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jimmy Olsson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 76th minute of play forced KAMILOS's goalkeeper Roland Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Olsson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Michal Banan sent off a good shot on target. Roland Alström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Staffelbach in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Michal Banan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimmy Olsson. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Banan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Blicharz in the 87th minute of play. If Julien Staffelbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the KAMILOS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Linköpings AIK.
